Sports Day!

A long hot day!!

What started off to be windy, cold and rainy day turned out to be glorious sunshine!!

The Infants joined the Heights school for sports day. Wasn't the best planned day with the infants having one race at 9.20 then not another until 2.30 leaving them baking in the sun all day BUT they seemed to enjoy it and loved getting a medal! Neither of my girls won a race although they're claiming that they both came first in their races (do they think I didn't watch???) but with tug of war, bean bag racing, tunnel ball and relay racing they had a super time, which is what counts!!

There was a BOLD note on the parentmail for sports day asking parents not to bring alcohol but I reckon a nice glass of Pimms would've gone done a treat in the afternoon sun!!

Deliveries needing to be picked up tomorrow to complete our outfits for Saturday nights party!!! Although the theme is a little wacky, it should be fun!!
