My concession to Christmas

These are things of beauty. I'm not a fan of Christmas. People always try to jolly you along aghast that you don't like the festive season.
For me it started when I was 10, 2 weeks before Christmas my dad died and my world changed forever. Christmas was not a great occasion from then on. The expectation which invariably lead to disappointment. I don't like the expectation that you should be having a fun time because it's Christmas, it's one day.
One thing I do like is the food. Mince pies and stollen are my festive concessions!
