St John the Baptist, Stone

It's been a very sad day today. I attended a funeral, at this Church, of a friend I met as part of my Moving On course after my cancer treatment.

Val was a quiet, warm and amazing lady. Her cancer was terminal, we all knew that, but it was still a shock to learn she had died. We Moving On course ladies all sat together. It was a lovely service and it showed how much she was loved by all her family and friends.

Stone is about 15 mins drive from where I live, I have passed through it numerous times but since March I have begun to Work there, I've started Areobic classes there and I have been to a Christening in this Church. This is the view of the Church I get every time I go to work, and now it will remind me of Val. Rest in peace lovely lady.

In better news, Matt has been discharged from the hospital for his eye problem. Yaay!
