Coco

Yesterday I blipped very early as it was the one anniversary that I dread each year. It never gets any easier and this year I had to attend the Edukent Expo as an exhibitor, so could not dwell on it, and I also knew I would be tired and a bit emotional at the end of the day, so I honoured her with the Rose that bears her name and came from Mum's garden.

The expo proved to be a good day, well worth the hard work, and Coco ( an Asian Brown Wood Owl) was a great draw, along with Jack the Burrowing Owl and Twiglet the Tawney Owl. I unashamedly take Coco to these things because she is noisy! she can be heard over great distances, a shrill 'baby crying, screech that brings people to the stand, just to see what the noise is. In fact, one exhibitor actually asked where our stand was, and wanted to be near it, because of the amount of people coming to see the Owls.

Today I have been catching up with admin stuff. It was fun to draw a winner from the competition to win a free class visit.
