Red Sky on a sad grey day

Saying goodbye is never easy... Today we said goodbye to our friend and local vet Theresa who died tragically in a car accident at the young age of 29.  She was lovely women always full of smiles and so passionate about the animals. She had realised her life dream by taking over the her home Island vet practise last year. It was a lovely service with such nice words and anecdotes. The music chosen were three tracks by her favourite band Skipinnish, nuair bha mi og (when I was young), Land Below the Waves and Piper till the end as she left to her final resting place. There were so many sad faces some having to stand outside with a loudspeaker allowing them to hear the service within. She touched so many lives in her short time here.
