Miss Georgina McAllister

Mum is 91 today. Today's blip is cropped from her graduation photograph, which was displayed on the piano at home when I was growing up, and was taken when she was twenty. My dad used to say she looked like Gina Lollobrigida! I've mentioned before what a great role model she was for me, combining a career with raising four children at a time when that was not common. I feel extremely blessed that she is still there to guide and comfort me when I'm 64. No big party this year but I am heading south tomorrow to see her and to celebrate another year with my family.
