Dreamy lilies

What strange weather today, it is rather warm and was beautifully sunny when I went in to the chiropractor but raining by the time I came out. I decided to stay indoors and took some photos of my lilies - although it is sunny again now.

I have had to reconsider my packing plans for the Lake District next week - I wanted to pack very light but it has been raining so much up there and is so wet that I have been forced to take a larger suitcase than envisaged so that I can include a pair of wellies.

I am going up to London tonight to join Gavin at a formal work dinner - I hope he stays awake or he may just find bits of bread roll being thrown across the table at him!
