The Road Ahead

Another sunny morning. We chose a different route, through a different part of the forest, where we haven't walked for some time. For the first time in weeks, it was wet and muddy on the path. But we had a nice walkie anyway, playing the Come! game and enjoying the sunshine. And - we walked past the sheeps' winter home, and they were inside!

Mum is surprised that I always seem to know the way, even if it is not one of our regular walkies. If we arrive by car, I always know in which direction the car is, even if we're far away. She laughs and says she doesn't need a GPS when she is with me. I reckon those are normal dog skills.

In the afternoon, we went to the puppy school teacher's pet store because I needed a new harness. Said mum. I like my old harness, the red one I got when I was a puppy. It is soft and comfortable, but mum says it is one size too small and that I need something sturdier. I don't really have a say, so I consented to trying several models on. We decided on a black one that will most certainly be blipped at some point.
