The dance recital

We ended up getting seats way at the back of the hall where there were seats free... the seats are done by a "lottery"... well when I say lottery I mean they give all the best seats to their favorites and the crap seats to everybody else....
Anyways that meant our seats were near the wall on the far right of the hall, as LBG's place in the line was on the end on the left side of the stage we knew we wouldnt even be able to see her... so we waited and found empty seats at the back at the left once things had started.

Being closer would have helped with the lousy light as I could have used the 24-70mm f/2.8 instead of the 70-300mm at 300m where the aperture is 5.6. Those extra two stops would have helped with the low light by allowing me to use a much lower iso and also allowed me to keep the focal length to shutter speed ratio down to help me stay sharper too...
