11th day of the 11th month

At 11am this morning Parliament stopped and stood silent for two minutes to pay our respects to the dead of so many wars. This photo was taken immediately after that moment and is of the Presiding Officer, Tricia Marwick MSP and my West of Scotland colleague, Stuart McMillan MSP who piped at the ceremony.
