L's birthday cake

If you think this is clever this was only part of the cake!

It was an amazing Flying Scotsman (train) with a carriage on behind and this giraffe in the carriage.

I like this little guy and the bewildered look on his face.

S2 and S1 certainly put a lot of time and effort into his (or is it her, I can't tell?) creation. But judging by the chatter and giggling in the kitchen they had fun making him.

The kids and adults at the birthday party today were very impressed.

BTW, all 3 generations of "boys" wore kilts to the party today (in keeping with the Flying Scotsman theme) and I.m sure that we looked very smart. But no-one took a decent photo to prove it!
