Not going to win any prizes!

Very late in the season, I found an old packet of Squash seeds with a couple of leftover seeds inside. As an experiment I planted them straight into the garden; no cloches or weather protection.

Well they both eventually flowered and by the time the plants died, both had, as you can see, tennis ball sized squash.

Probably need to start earlier next year then! :-)
