Remembrance Day

Enough said. Except ........
I looked at the wreaths. From the guides, the brownies, the army cadets, the city council and others. Including UKIP and the BNP. I felt a bit queasy about this, it felt as much about making a political statement as about remembering the dead, and inappropriate. And I do not think that  patriotism - in the right sense -  and remembering is a political thing. At all.
