Fiddling

First 'proper' violin lesson for No 3.  

When my old school pals started their violin lessons, they started on strings plucking, but No 3 was straight into bowing.

She took great pleasure in showing me how to make 'bunny ears' with your fingers to hold the bow correctly.

Reminded me of my first ever trumpet lesson in P7.  I loved it from day one.  No 1 and No 2 took Cello lessons for a few years but gave up when they were fed up carrying it to school.

Here's hoping No 3 finds a love of music.

Date night for Mr S and me - a trip to the Cinema for a half price 'Meercat Movie'.  Loads of good movies out at the moment but we decided on an action movie and gave 007 a go.  Verdict?  Not bad, proscribed formula for a James Bond movie, car chases, exotic venues, pretty girls, gadgets and cheesy dialogue.  

Mr Connery will still be my No 1 James though.
