The Lonesome Pine

Today was a bit cloudy but still very warm. We hardly noticed the weather though as we've spent two days taking out another three trees and burning them, saving the logs of course.
This pine, which seems to be growing well as it happens to have the compost bins on top of its roots, now stands out more and has a bit more room to breathe. Before we cleared the tangle of brambles and trees around it, we could hardly see it.
