Art Deco Splendour

Part of the fabulous Art Deco decorations on the facade at 138-164 Federal Street in Boston's Financial District.   This building is known as the United Shoe Machinery Building, designed by Parker, Thomas and Rice, 1928-1930.  It's on the National Register of Historic Places, and a Boston Landmark.  The first Art Deco skyscraper in the city.
