high water

I thought the rain was never going to stop today. It seemed to be easing at 3.30 so I decided to put my water resistant outer layer on and head to the lake. I was surprised how full it was and it had obviously been higher as the car park over the road was flooded. 

I went into my rucksack for the little Olympus which lives in the bottom.  Couldn’t feel it. Emptied the contents onto a bench and it wasn’t there. There was only one thing to do ……. use my ancient phone with it’s 3 megapixel camera. The photo looks a little better in mono but please don’t go large!
