Outside and Inside

Went into the local village today to post another batch of postcards, and had a coffee in this place - one of five cafés in a village of about a thousand people. The pumpkin in the extra weighed 30kg and had won a prize in August. The ubiquitous tele was going on about a case of domestic violence in a nearby village, the whole time we were in there, causing much comment from the women sitting round the tables.

Strange world we live in - an organic dairy farm a few minutes away that has to make cheese to sell their milk, and the milk in our coffee was from the Azores, thoroughly processed and poured from a packet...
