Riverside dwelling

For 2 hours only, I experienced what it must be like to live on the edge of a river! Within 5 minutes of torrential rain, the road markings, pavements and neighbour opposites drive, had all disappeared! Thank goodness we are on higher ground!
Having not looked at the weather forecast, I'd planned on taking Asha to the park for swings and a picnic...we've made do with a picnic in the lounge!
Anyway, the road has reappeared and life has gone back to normal... Weather like this makes me realise why we Brits love discussing it so much!
