What the hell is that doing there?

I thought to myself, "I know, I'll blip the actual view of Kastellorizo from Zu Zu's café since they've already seen my favourite reading corner". So I'm getting ready to shoot when, suddenly, there's this Turkish gunboat In the field of view, probably on routine patrol, but an ugly reminder of the bitter enmity between Greece and Turkey that once existed. The ordinary folk from Kas and Kastellorizo are friendly neighbours now; relations are better. It wasn't always so, as this gunboat reminds us. And if ever Turkey joins the EU (it could happen - discussions are slow but on-going) this enmity could once and for all be consigned to the scrap heap of history.
