Fornells

The days are settling into a rhythm of waking late to pitch black (the black out blinds are incredibly good at their job. As the blinds rise (it's all electric here darling)! the sun, heat and blue sky are unfailing waiting outside for us. On goes the bikini and sarong and a morning of reading and swimming by the pool, with a little breakfast is all that any of us want (Just to clarify Mike is wearing his sarong but not a bikini.....that I know of)
By 11.00 am it's too hot to be in laying in the sun. Lisa heads off first to Sa Tuna Hotel terrace for coffee and a croissant to use her laptop to blip, Hubs and I follow about an hour later to join her for another coffee and to hop on her laptop while she swims in the cove (the computing part of blipping is far better solo). The girls come down a little later and have a drink and natter while we decide on lunch and afternoon destinations.
We took in a very impressive 4 beaches in the afternoon, all lovely with heir own unique feel. All of these places were considered in the holiday planning, but we are quite smuggly contented with the chosen destination of Sa Tuna, it suits our needs and tastes perfectly.
We rounded the evening off back in Calella Palafrugell on the beach at a great little place for Paella and Sangria. We are all so relaxed, lots of banter and giggling. It's great to see the girls not attached to phones, facebook and the TV and they're confessing to enjoying their digital diet too. We're all connecting face to face. Bliss!!

This shot is in Fornells harbour at about 7pm, still very hot but with a gentle cool breeze . This whole area compares with a tropical Cornwall. I am utterly smitten and imagine we'll be back.
