Americas Cup sailing

So, how often do you get to say, "I steered an Americas Cup yacht underneath Sydney Harbour Bridge"... especially when your prior 'sailing' experience is limited to a wee cat in Cuban waters and erm, kayaks.

You see, this is the sort of thing that happens when you give your other half certain Christmas presents, which we finally redeemed in June... why go sailing in the summer sunshine when you can get drenched come winter :)

We had a fantastic time - what an experience. Now we're more keen than ever to learn to sail! A course or volunteering to do some crew work is definitely on the agenda. Ahoy.
