Emily & Jalan Alor

My friend Emily (who I spent time with in Penang and Luang Prabang) was in KL for one night with her friend Linh. We all met for a drink and a catch-up. Linh went for a massage so Emily and I walked to Jalan Alor, the most famous food street in KL where I spent lots of time at the start of the year.

The restaurant I used to visit for cendol was closed but we found another place. Weirdly they didn't use coconut milk but it was still tasty and they piled it high as you can see in the photo. We had some happy hour beers at a German bar and then went for dinner back on Jalan Alor. It was great catching up with Emily.
