OTAGO UNIVERSITY!

For two weeks we've studied at this awesome university. Touring it took almost 2 hours! But there are some major differences between American collages and New Zealand colleges. The one difference that I like the best is the rooming situation- everyone has their own private room! When the guide told about it he said he thought it would be a kiwi's worst nightmare to have to share a room with someone else. This is a huge difference from American collages where having a roommate is the norm. Another thing that's odd about this university is how spread out it is. Otago university is made up of multiple smaller colleges that all have a separate dorm and cafeteria. Most universities back home have a central set-up with one cafeteria and a huge sprawling campus. The meals are also quite good quality for cafeteria food, which is a step up from cafeteria food back home. Overall it's been an awesome experience to study here!
