Against all odds

This little flower makes me smile every time I come round the corner and see it outside our neighbour's house. And things seemed to be looking up today. The money we've been waiting for from a savings account finally came through (wonderful how banks can sit on our money, seemingly for as long as they like - and then make us wait for another 60 DAYS before we can redeem more). Think I'll go out and strangle a few bankers.

I defrosted the fridge, started sorting out the car documentation and gave an estimate for some work which has been accepted. And now I'll go to bed and sleep on it while I'm still feeling optimistic.
