View from a train

Having travelled up from York yesterday I was on the train at 7.30 to Aberdeen for interviews. We ran a few minutes late but managed to start more or less on time, finished then I caught the train back with 6 minutes to spare to be back in time for a gathering in memory of a friend who died earlier this year.

Despite the distance travelled there were few photo opportunities. This one from the moving train in between bushes gives a feel for the damp windy day. Edinburgh in nestling in the far left of the picture on the other side of the Firth of Forth.
