Road to nowhere

Lord, the misery of the M6 on a Monday morning, with the rain eroding everyone's ability to drive and emergency road works at Lymm creating a twenty mile tailback. Twenty miles! There's a unique frustration to sitting in stationary traffic. Being in a car on the road; this combination should spell liberty and adventure. 

Anyway, so it was that instead of arriving early for my meeting, I was an hour and a half late, and very relieved to find my clients in good humour and still enjoying a coffee.

This evening in Booths I saw this, obviously ready to be part of a display but not yet chalked up. It seemed like the perfect sign post for the motorway, this morning.
