Where's Al?

Al Roker was coming to our little town on his Roker-thon, and my father in law is a bit of a fan so Sweetgirl and I took him down to the lake to see Mr Roker....we had to wait around for 2 hours but the weather was pretty nice and one of the High School bands had set up to entertain us with some nice music, so it was a good morning out.  Quite a few interesting characters about.  Sweetgirl got her picture taken with our recently retired weatherman :0)

This was the best pic I got, not exactly fabulous, (the weather reporting was done from the end of the pier, and we were on the shore so we couldn't really see any of that),  but my father in law got to shake Mr Roker's hand so he was quite pleased with his day out.
