Toitū Otago Settlers Museum
After worshipping with the Dunedin Church of Christ, my friends and I explored the Otago Settlers Museum. The museum was established in 1898. Originally, it was only concerned with the European settlers from 1848 and 1871, but, over time, it enlarged to include later arrivals and Māori. I got to see displays that told the story of the Māori up until present day. I even got to "ride" the bike you see above and try on a hoop skirt. I learned lot of information about New Zealand; I recommend going to this museum if you love history because you'll learn a lot when you go!
