"I don't believe it..........."

Yes, this clematis is blooming in Northumberland in November. It's in an exposed position because it grows up a yew that borders on the road outside our house.

I took this during windy conditions, but nothing like the gale force winds we experienced last night. I was still awake at 0200 because the double garage door was making horrible noises. My bedroom is above the garage. I nearly moved to sleep elsewhere in the house! 

Today I have been at home and trying to catch up on jobs, but where does the time go?  We do now know that Mum is down to have her hand operation on December 8th and that the stairlift will be fitted here next week. All good.
