Monte Carlo

Giving young people the opportunity of going on school trips is something that I feel is really important for many of our pupils. They get the chance to see things outside of their normal experience and also get a little bit of "training" from their teachers on how to conduct themselves socially too.

I was looking down on to Monte Carlo jealous of all the people in the pool getting in some training in the sun. I really wanted to join them but of course I couldn't ditch the pupils and do my own thing. Fortunately the complex where we were staying has its own small pool, so I was able to find an hour later to get a bit of swimming in.
