Waves

We went to a different part of the island this morning primarily to buy some bread as our local bakery where I buy both flour and bread is closed for renovation work and he was hoping to be open by the end of September. This part of the sea wall was breached by storms last winter so they have replaced the damaged wall with large rocks. A road used to run along parallel to the coast but this had to be diverted because of the storm damage. We saw a man being knocked over by a wave today as the waves or at least the current was pretty strong.
