Movember!
Archie has a few signals that send him scampering to the door, ready for walkies - somebody putting on a coat, picking up keys etc, but today, when I took my trousers off in the kitchen, he was confused...
Yes, I went out in my long raincoat and wellies, but trouser-less. I was careful to zip the coat up fully, lest it caught in a gust of wind and revealed all. Of course, I also had to be careful not to be knocked down by a bus - how embarrassing would that be in A&E!!
I was as dry as a bone. Except for my left sock - those new wellies cannot have sprung a leak!?
Across the Links we met the once white, now covered in mud, Charlie. (A dog, not a human). No fun for Archie, as he ignored him, preferring his ball. Then along came two medium sized short haired brown dogs with curly tails. What were they? Puggles apparently - a cross between a pug and a beagle.
I crossed over to the computer shop for some advice about the ageing computer. They would look at it and advise me what was worth doing. I rarely use the computer now, preferring the iPad, but have to resort to it for some things.
When we came back, Archie was so muddy, I had to stick him in the shower right away. And here's another innovation - I kept my raincoat on! Did I get wet? Nope. A blow dry and swift once over with the clippers (Archie, not me) and we're both relaxing on the sofa now.
I'm going to fiddle about on the computer this afternoon, seeing what I can get rid of or what I need to write to CD. I might give Dropbox a try too. It's too old to access iCloud, so really, there's no future for it. :-(
Popping down the road to visit Rufus and his mum later this afternoon, perchance to sip on a G&T (just the humans, not dogs).
So here's Archie, relaxed and happy, enjoying his shower. I did do his body as well, after this shot.
I have just counted five toys (Archie's) in the hallway, and four in the kitchen. I really should train him to put them away..
