The last throws of summer

In fact it is the last throws of autumn as temperature records continue to be broken.  Today the sun continues to shine and it is 25 degrees.  It will be nice to return to friends and family but a wrench to drive away from the colours and warmth of Vernet.  Most of the jobs and packing is done so I will have time to attend the last French conversation session.
