Charity begins at home ...

My daughter will fly to Lesbos on Saturday to help in what ever way she can, she put out a plea for donations two weeks ago and has been inundated with bags and overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of her friends and friends of friends. After carefully selecting the things that are most urgently needed to take with her she has delivered the residue to a friend and we have arranged to take it to Refugee Aid 786 in Huddersfield, I took a car load today and Sharon will go tomorrow with the rest.
My plan for today was to spend time with my niece who is over from Saudi for a week, we did spend time together... Not quite as we thought, probably far better as we met these two wonderfully inspirational people, Sakib and his Mum Musrrat.
