Assignments

The assessor was with us today, so another really busy day and then we went for a bite to eat together after work. Unfortunately, one of the lessons she observed was 'not to standard' for this stage of the course. Not a surprise for anyone, but it's never pleasant having to give feedback on that kind of lesson. We're also marking and double marking written assignments and resubmissions: here's the cover sheet for one. We couldn't face the thought of marking any more after dinner tonight, so it's a 6.00am start tomorrow morning to get a couple of hours in before the day starts properly. I much prefer marking in the morning anyway, over a cup of coffee.
