Chocos, la parte más sabroso del . . .

. . . the most flavoursome part of the squid.

I realised today that as Dd goes largely between the Cairo flat and her work, so do I between our Barcelona home and work. I probably stay even more around the block at the weekends.

Today I stayed local only coaching into another European country on an unbroken Skype audio call of 3 hours 47 minutes. We had two comfort breaks (we kept the connection up) and the client has just written to say it was extensive, intensive and very useful. One wonders, sometimes, especially if one is a sole practitioner. I think I need to seek a little more reassurance from peers in the same field.

I have to say that these particular sessions offer me the most beatiful aspect of my work as people share in advance and in writing stories about the happiest times of their lives. It is a privilege to have them shared and always my reading of them back to them touches the joy of the truth . . . there is no doubting it when it happens. They may not realise it yet but what they have put on paper is part of their inspiring legacy for future generations whether family or otherwise. ¿Saboroso, no?
