A bright start

Haven't seen the morning sun for a while and it really was very bright this morning.
Home from work and I've finished the last bit of the decorating around the fireplace. Thankfully it's straight but I think it's going to take a bit of getting used to, I've gone from white to checks.
So the fire was ok to be lit tonight, it's roaring nicely, but these open fires do take a lot of perfecting . I'm learning a lot about the way to light a fire and keeping it roaring.
