Grey lake

Bit of a blustery day today so a little walk round RHS Hyde Hall blew the cobwebs away today! I did feel sorry for the gardeners and volunteers up there doing their best to keep the leaves that had fallen under control! Once they'd swept up one pile, another pile had taken their place!  They collect all the leaves up though and store them to rot down as leaf mould so it all goes back into the garden after a year or so! Free natural compost!!
