Black crested night heron

scooted under the park bench when I came close.  Lots of fishermen at Ala Moana Park.  One local man said this heron was waiting to take his share, that he'd even climb into the bucket holding his bait/catch, if it wasn't covered.  An unusual bird to see at the park.
