Picture Postcard

Today we went to see the Mesdag Panorama, anything I did to compete would not stand up to comparison. The Panorama was painted just over one hundred years ago, and is essentially a 360 degree view of Scheveningen as it appeared at the time. The town was a small fishing village at the time, it is now a substantial tourist resort just outside The Hague.

The harbour is till host to a number of fishing boats, so in the afternoon I treated myself to some raw herring. Delicious. Lots of walking today again. Goodness I must have walked a marathon since we arrived in Holland.
