We went to an NFL game today between the Tampa Bay Bucaneers and the New York Giants (Giants won...) and at the halftime, 200 young men and women took their official "swearing in" vows to join one of the branches of our military.  This week is Veterans Day in the USA and that was celebrated as well with former and current members of the military receiving special recognition for the service to our country.   I've never seen a ceremony like this and we were all touched by it.  When I zoomed in on them (extra photo), they looked like babies to me.  They're someone's son, someone's daughter.  I felt proud and sad all at the same time.
