Remembrance Sunday in Hexham
After yesterday's meeting of the NE Documentary Group, I decided that I should try to document more of what happens in the world. I went to Hexham for the Remembrance Day service.
It was a grey, damp day with low light levels, so I was glad of the excellent high ISO settings on my camera.
I was struck by the numbers of young people in the various cadet corps and wonder how they will fare in the future. A lot of people came out for the event too with a sense that we must not forget what has gone before.
If only we could find better ways for peace.
