Derelict Iraqi Embassy To East Germany In Berlin

This was abandoned in 1991 following the fall of the Berlin Wall .After the one and only Gulf War and  German reunification the then Iraqi staff  were forced to leave this place. It had been a gift to them by the former DDR Government. Strewn with old documents and fittings it is now a mess. The trashing has been terrible . I have been in here and filmed .So much has changed politically hence nobody claims it .The current Iraqi government want nothing to do with it and the present German government feel likewise .It's a beautiful building and entrance is not difficult. Determining ownership seems impossible ---- .Stalemate !
