Looking at Wildlife on a wet day.

Driving today from Arnside to Peebles in relentless rain we took the opportunity to visit Tullie House Museum in Carlisle.

Housed in a Grade 1 listed Jacobean building in the centre of the city this Museum is a rewarding place for a couple of hours. It has just won a prize as one of the best interactive museums in Britain and is especially good for children.

Moreover it has an attractive restaurant where we enjoyed a good lunch.

The photograph of one of the displays shows how you can enjoy wildlife on a cold, windy day in November.
