My 8 year old became 9 today.  She had us awake suitably early for rapturous present opening in our bed!

Took Eldest to have her top brace fitted - there will be a bottom one eventually.  MrRoly took Smallest to get his flu 'jab'.

Party for Princess at 'Tarq's Arq' - she thoroughly enjoyed and so did we!  A remarkably relaxed affair.  Those of us spectating especially enjoyed the 'Witch Game' - not sure the witches did though.

The excitement didn't end there as we had tickets to see Andy Parsons at Princess Pavilions - much funnier than expected (better than Josh Widdicombe :-0 ) and pretty political in the second half but a quick google threw up that he was a writer on Spitting Image so perhaps not surprising.
