Ceci n'est pas une coupe en plastique

Apologies to Magritte and his painting of a pipe which is not a pipe.  If he’d painted a plastic cup instead he’d no doubt have said; ‘Ceci n'est pas une coupe en plastique’.  And he’d have been correct because plastic cups had not been invented when he painted his non-pipe.

This particular cup is made of very fine china - and is a souvenir from this gallery in Germany.

It was quite a challenge trying to photograph a shiny white thing on a shiny white shelf.
