Carpet of leaves

A truly wet day, started before breakfast, and really never eased off! So we decided that woodland was the best option. Headed for Lanthwaite woods at the end of Crummock, which in the rain and high winds offered a little protection from the elements, but by 3 o'clock we were all wet enough for the tea-room calling to persuade us.
