I only went round to the corner shop for some washing-up liquid.......

EDIT:: I've just added an 'extra', couldn't decide whether to or not.......but it's in memory of all the women who never got the chance to be wives (important then!) and mothers after the 1st World War, one of whom was my Great Aunt Sally.....this is her holding a child that wasn't hers in the early 20's.....she was my Ma's 2nd mother and my 3rd Grandma..........it wasn't just the men at the front.......
