Dinner tonight was a bowl of all three colours!...white, purple and green, steamed and drizzled with butter, lemon and pepper...bought fresh picked by Harrie and team from their Bickley Valley asparagus farm.
DELICIOUS.

Tip:  there  apparently should be no woody stem on fresh asparagus so all that snapping off the woody bit is a waste...just shave the bottom of the stalk with a peeler and hey presto, the whole stalk ready for munching
